You might just be wondering who authored
this site. Well I shall reveal this: I do like my
privacy but my name is Karin and I am a
graphic designer. I didn’t major in health or
politics, I just saw a place where design had
yet to say something useful and then decided
to turn it into my thesis so that I could really
earn my BFA in Graphic Design. The whole
premise of my thesis is rather long but

Ever notice that when someone or a group
is trying to get a point across (especially in
the abortion debate) they heavily rely on
bold tactics (bold meaning profanity, name
calling, obscene or disgusting imagery,
etc.)? The point being that you have to be
bold to get noticed, right? However, if
everyone is bold then no one’s message is
any more poignant than any other. Being
bold is also a good way to get dismissed
as being crazy or on the fringe.

So with that, I decided the best way to
make a point was not to make a point.
Yes, you read that right. Crazy? We’ll see.
However, with this direction I believe that
the debate can be reframed to allow
further discussion and even allow some
new insight to shed itself on everyone
participating no matter the viewpoint.
